Category A

  • Citizens of ‘third-countries’: all countries except for the 27 Member States of the European Union or associated states [Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway];
  • Citizens of ‘third-countries’ who have not lived or carried out a main activity (studies, work, etc.) in any EU Member State or associated country for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years at the date of application.
     

Category B

  •  Citizens of European Union Member States, or from Iceland, Norway or Liechtenstein.
Important:
Citizens from category A, ‘third-countries’, who have lived or have carried their main activities in one of the Category B countries for more than 12 months over the last five years, will also be considered within the Group B. In this case the fundings will correspond to category B, regardless of having non EU nationality.

EUR 3 000 - only if the studies include a mobility track in a non-European institution

EUR 500 / month

 

Scholarships are awarded to the best classified students, according to the admission criteria and respecting a balance of countries / nationalities.

 

PAYMENT PROCESS

The contribution to travel and installation costsis paid (in euros) per academic year:

4000 € in M1 and 4000 € in M2.

It is paid in one or several installments (according to the needs of the student) after arrival and effective enrolment of the student in the co-ordinating institution, University Montpellier 1.

 

The contribution to the participation costs (tuition fees) is deduced directly from the scholarship. 

 

The monthly allowance is paid starting from the end of the month of the arrival of the student. Payments are done by bank transfer (you have to open a bank account in France) at the end of each month during the 24 months of the Master course and stopped immediately in case of interruption of the course by the student.
